Twas the Night before the weekend and all through Heaven on York
Every creature was stirring their mixed drinks with a fork
The girls were all sitting round the family room chair
In hopes of having fun, one even curled her hair.
The drinks were nestled all snug in our hands
With visions of the night as we all made our plans
Sheila in her bow, I in my tiny dress
All getting ready to turn ourselves into a mess.
When downstairs in 2E we heard such a clatter
As pixie and hubby let us know what was the matter.
On the couch Sheila knew it was the handle of a mop
So she lifted her leg and let it down with a stomp.
Happy and gay that we gave it right back
We moved on to more drinks to keep our night on track
When what to our wondering eyes should we see?
But our Little LuLu and Caitlin McKinney!
All ready to go out, so lively and quick
They knew it’d be fun, crazy and epic.
More rapid than eagles they rushed out the door
It was gonna be a good night, of that they were sure
Now Caitlin and Sheila and LuLu and Kin
Professa, Sister Buddha, Bernice and some friends
Were ready to rock and just have a ball
They dashed away dashed away dashed away all!
They awoke in the morning to a slightly great start
With a smile on their faces and joy in their heart
As they sat round the room and recounted the eve
Their mood changed from excited to just plain relieved
Looking at each other they knew it was true
They wouldn’t be this happy without people like you
So they poured a glass and they started to think
This Cheers is for you, now let’s have a drink!
